This is print screen from twittercounter.com which shows how many people follow someone, mostly used for celebrities. The graph shows how much Taylor's followers increase each day. I feel this was an important image to include because it shows how many people actually like Taylor Swift enough to follow her on Twitter.
I also decided to look at Taylor Swift's official webpage. The first feature you see when you first go on the artist's website is the large image of her and the word 'red'. This image promotes herself so the audience know straight away that they are on the correct artist's website. The red writing and theme of the webpage links to the name of new album. There are many options to 'download on iTunes' which will take you to the iTunes store so that fans have the opportunity to purchase the album. There are many other links for social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook where the fans can 'vote for Taylor'. There is a section which has been written by Taylor Swift called 'My Life' so that fans can understand who she is and what how she has grown up. The website is full of plenty of images of the artist in order to promote her and therefore her music. The website includes lots of useful statistics such as: "Taylor, who writes all of her own songs, has career record sales in excess of 22 million albums and 50 million song downloads. Each of her three studio albums has sold in excess of 5 million copies worldwide, and her most recent album, Speak Now, is one of only 17 albums in the entire history of music to sell more than 1 million copies in a single week. She has had singles top both the country and pop radio charts around the globe, is one of the top 5-selling digital music artists worldwide, and is the top-selling digital artist in country music history." This information shows how good an artist she actually is and puts into words how many people enjoy her music and listen to her.
This graph shows how popular each of her songs are. This graph again emphasises how many people listen to her songs and albums.
